Shipping Insurance
We strongly encourage you to purchase shipping insurance for an additional $2 per product when placing your order. If you decide to purchase insurance, we will insure your goods for the total purchase price through our shipping platform. This means that if your package is severely delayed, never shows up, or arrives damaged, we can file a claim and hopefully get you a full refund. If you decide to forgo shipping insurance, you will not incur an additional charge but your goods will not be insured. This means in most cases you cannot file a claim nor will you receive a refund in the event your goods arrive late, do not arrive at all or arrive damaged.
Domestic Shipping
All blanket and print orders shipping in the USA ship for a flat rate of $10. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS ground and USPS priority mail. This flat rate shipping price does not apply to the purchase of original paintings nor does it cover shipping insurance. In order to conserve on packing materials and save on shipping costs, we ship entire orders together whenever possible. If you’re placing a pre-order and ordering goods that are in stock at the sane time, we recommend placing two separate orders so your in-stock goods can ship right away. Expedited shipping is available upon request for an additional charge. Please note, expedited shipping rates are costly and delivery dates are not guaranteed by the carrier. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with exchanges and re-shipping returned packages due to a customer error with the shipping address. US Territories Shipping
We currently ship individual orders to the following US Territories via USPS for a flat rate of $25 for the first item and $5 for each additional item: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Outlying Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands. These orders are final sale and shipping is non-refundable. Please see our return policy for more details.
International Shipping + Duties
We currently ship individual orders to the following countries via USPS for a flat rate of $75 for the first blanket and $35 for each additional blanket: Japan, Spain, Norway, Australia, Belgium, Canada, UK, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the Netherlands. Although we do ship worldwide, we do not collect any Value Added Tax (VAT) during checkout. The customer is responsible for paying all VAT, duties and fees and these added costs may exceed the merchandise’s value. Effective July 1, 2021, EU member states will collect VAT for all goods entering the EU. The VAT ranges from 17% to 27% depending on the EU member state, not including any applicable duties or fees.
All international orders are final sale and international shipping is non-refundable. Hillery Sproatt is not responsible for any fees charged by customs; all taxes and duties are to be paid in full by the customer. If you decide to refuse any shipment from Hillery Sproatt, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Hillery Sproatt. On the rare occasion a package is returned, the customer is responsible for the full shipping costs associated with re-shipping the item, which often exceeds the original shipping cost.
Tracking + Shipping Procedures
Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. For questions about delivery, please contact the carrier directly. Make sure to double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order. We are unable to reroute packages once they have shipped. Please note, once Hillery Sproatt has released the merchandise to the carrier, she is no longer responsible for the goods, which includes lost or delayed goods. After goods are shipped, the customer will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. If you have purchased insurance, we can help you file a claim so please reach out to us. If a package is shipped to the address associated with an order, but deemed undeliverable by the carrier and is returned to our studio, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping the goods.
